How to build an Email List that converts

It’s pretty clear that the success of your business as an Internet Marketer is so much dependent on your Email list. The size of list you have and the trust you build on them is just guaranteed success.

There are so many ways to grow your email list.

But firstly, have you ever stopped to think why people sign up for your email list?

The truth is, it’s not because they want to fill up their inbox with so much mails.

It’s simply because they think you have something valuable to offer them that’s why they sign up.

So, what is ‘value’ to your audience?

What can you offer to them that will help them solve their daily problems?

Are you selling a product that will better their lives?

These should be part of your focus when crafting your Email Marketing Campaign.

The moment  your Email Marketing is focused on solving the problems of your email lists, you automatically earn their trust and set the foundation for an awesome relationship.

Now, one of the ways to grow your email list is to launch great products either on JVZoo or Warriorplus etc. 

When you launch products and increase your email lists, you don’t just start promoting other products to them, rather you start by knowing their needs, establishing a better relationship with them first before anything else.

This is a sure way of keeping your subscribers and not letting them unsubscribe from your mailing list. Reasons because you provide value to them hence, they begin to trust you and this is however, the first process of list building.

Another way is to invest in solo ads and paid traffic but this is not where it ends. There’s a lot of work to do after growing an email list from solo ads and paid traffic.

After getting this email list from sources like this, always try as much as possible to provide value to them. 

You can conduct a poll/survey/interview to know their areas of interest, areas they have failed in the past trying to grow their business etc and then offer solutions to them as well as keep giving them freebies/tips on how to further grow their business.

In doing so, you have fully gained their trust and confidence in you and If you decide to send a promotion campaign about a certain product they would listen to you and show interest.

Also note that you are not the sole owner of your email lists because other Marketers are possibly sharing the same list with you, now it lies in your hands to be in control of your lists. It’s more like competition in the marketplace, whoever builds a stable relationship with his/her email lists wins the person over. Meaning that you always have to be in tip-top shape with your Email lists to enable easy conversions and this is the beginning of your success as a Marketer.

It’s always important to put the interest of your subscribers before anything maybe $$.

And how do you do this? 

Do not promote any product that does not offer value to subscribers

This is where some marketers fail despite their huge email list. If you promote a crappy product to your email list, they buy it and then realize it wasn’t worth the hype, they lose their trust in you and may not listen to you any further when you try to promote another product to them be it a great product.

Also always be willing, ready and available to help your email list get results with the products you promote to them. Assist them with tools/content/ideas that would be very useful to them with the product. This is one great strategy that makes your subscribers gain your trust. To be honest there’s a lot of work in making this happen and when you achieve this, conversions are at your fingertips.. 

You can do so by a simple follow-up of the product you promote to them, making sure they’re happy with it, guide them further on how to use the product if they’re having issues with probably the video tutorials on how to use the product to get results. This shows you have their interest at heart, remember these email lists are humans just like you, the way you treat them is the same way they will reciprocate when you promote a product to them unlike other Marketers that stop at making sales.

One thing you should know is that some people are lazy, if you don’t walk through a one-on-one session with them to further know if they’re happy with the product you may find out that some people that bought the product, dumped it and called it crappy because they do not know how to use the product. Which means they won’t listen to you any further when you offer some sort of promotion to them again.

Organize polls/surveys and also offer free content like softwares/products to help them grow their business etc. This will make you stand out from other Marketers that only promote products to their email list instead of providing value as well.

What happened to your Email open rates?

It starts by looking at some basics:

Is your Email Too Big? Are there Spam Words? Is your Subject Line Optimal? Are your Subscribers Excited?
The combination of a few small problems can create one bigger issue (ahem… falling open rates), so by following a checklist to help make the small fixes in your emails, we can pretty much guarantee those open rates will start to soar.

1. Facebook likes money so they rightly assume that you do, too.
Starting last week, Facebook expanded the availability of two of its creator monetization methods, Fan Subscriptions and Stars.

According to a post from Facebook Product Marketing Director, Yoav Arnstein, and Head of Creator & Publisher Experience, Jeff Birkeland, creators that are on the ‘cool kids list’ (AKA meeting eligibility requirements), can now make money from fan subscriptions in a number of markets.

Here’s how it works: supporters pay a fixed price every month and they get benefits like exclusive content, live videos, discounts, and a special “supporter badge” that pops up next to their name in comments, which yet again proves that adults love stickers, and you can’t convince us otherwise!

Similar to filling the tip jar at your favorite bar or deli, fans can buy Stars and send them to creators in the comments section of videos as a way to show some love. For creators, it’s a great way to monetize their live streams and get a nice reward for building up a loyal and generous fan base. They can even set a “Stars Goal” that shows up as a permanent overlay in Videos. What a way to make fans feel involved and like they’re contributing to a goal!
 
2. Last week we talked about the importance of human-to-human (H2H) marketing, so this week we want to give you the resources for this more personal approach to marketing and relationship-building that will set you apart from your competitors.

Okay, so what if we told you the best way to implement a H2H approach was with technology? It may seem counter intuitive, but hear us out.

Personalization. Yes, we know it can be difficult, especially as your business grows, but technology’s ability to segment data can help you keep up with your customers, personalize your approach, and help you provide relevant offers. There’s no sense in offering a free trial offer to a long-time customer, but somehow businesses do it all the time.

With the right systems, you can track and organize your customers’ purchase history, visitation statistics, and email open rates. You can see how they are interacting with your brand and products, and then use that information when you reach out to them. Not only will it be more efficient, but it will make your consumers feel special. Personalization could truly be the best relationship-building tool in the marketing book!
 
3. Since Google has vowed to go “third-party cookie free” soon, businesses and advertisers have been looking for new ways to trade data and information regarding their website visitors. And The Telegraph, a massive British publisher, is testing out a new solution. They have constructed a secure data “bunker,” which lets them anonymously and securely send data directly to their advertisers. That means more support for advertisers’ specific audiences AND more targeted testing! We will all be watching to see if this data experiment proves to be a tasty solution to the cookie conundrum.
 
4. Thanks to Wp Engine’s yearly report, you can find out everything you need to know about this generation, without scrolling through TikTok feeling confused (just us?). With a whopping $150 billion of buying power in the global market, and the largest reliance on digital ever, this is a generation you don’t want to overlook. Here’s our 2 favorite takeaways, and how you can take action on this data now:

“Brand loyalty won’t sustain itself for Gen Z, you must continually earn their business”: Better pull out those Customer Value Journey sheets and make sure you’re providing value at EVERY STAGE—not just the first few!
“58% can’t go without internet access for more than 4 hours”: This means Gen Z will be more engaged via mobile, so make sure your landing pages, websites, and content are optimized for on-the-go!

5. Looks like Twitter is getting into the paid subscription game, judging by a job listing they posted, then edited to make more ambiguous, then edited back as the proverbial bird was already out of the bag.

Shortcuts are for suckers

Yeah, I said it. And I mean it.

Every day we see ads offering shortcuts. The people who buy from those ads are suckers. There’s no real shortcuts.

Think about it, when you’re driving and someone says “I know a shortcut” all they are saying is I know a different route that already exists. The word “shortcut” just makes it seem cooler.


I see people promising shortcuts to getting ripped and being 10% <em>body fat</em>. There’s no real shortcut there. It’s just hard work in the gym and good decisions in the kitchen.

If there was a “shortcut“; to being a millionaire everyone would take it. If there’s was a REAL shortcut to making millions we would all be rich. Not just some of us.If there was a shortcut to beating addiction, no one would be addicted.


I even see ads for pills (shortcuts) to having a bigger d…..c..k. If these pills worked we’d all be using a wheelbarrow to push our c….ks around.


Shortcuts are designed to sucker people into thinking there’s an easy way to do hard work; that’s total BS.


Newsflash: There isn’t! Shortcuts at best, lead to short term results. No one wants just a taste of the good life. We want it for the rest of our life.


Stop being a sucker and falling for shortcuts.


Instead be smart and put in the work, do your time, and make your dreams come true forever.
